Dove Mountain consists of over 6,200 acres of beautiful desert vistas, mountains, and saguaros and living at its best  living in the Tortolita Mountains, just north of Tucson, Arizona.

It is a master-planned golf resort community in  the high setting of the Sonoran Desert. the higher altitude will bring out the best in outdoors living year round. the Community has walking paths and is walking and fitness friendly for outdoor activities.

The Gallery hosted the World Accenture Golf Tournament for the first time this year and the event was a great success. The event attracts the top 64 players to Tucson Arizona for the first time.

Although the Event  will be played here for the next two years, it is anticipated that  the Tournament will remain in Tucson  with the possible opening of the new Ritz Carlton Resort in the area and the proposed Golf Course that Jack Nicklaus is designing around it.
There is a very comprehensive selection of different types of housing within the community for one to make a varied choice within the Dove Mountain Community.

Ritz Carlton Hotel Survey in Marana Az

The Ritz Carlton Hotel Survey.

I recently met with one of Tucson’s top Architects, Kevin Howard, to commence plans on a few spec homes that will be going into production in the gated community of Butterfly Mountain, Marana, Arizona. The community is adjacent  to the Dove Mountain Community, the new Tapestry Community, and Sahuaro Ranch Communities in Marana. The Street of Dreams will be opening in the area in February of next year.

The occupants of Butterfly Mountain are allowed to join the Golf and Recreational Club as part of the Dove Mountain Community.

I represent many Luxury Home Buyers in the Tucson market, and quite often find that our market does not have the facilities that the Buyer expects when searching for homes. However, I found the following research interesting.

As most of you already know the Ritz Carlton is building a new premier Resort  in Dove Mountain, and around 250 homes in the range of 1.5 million to over 3 million will be built around the new golf courses that surround the Hotel.

This will be one the Ritz Carlton’s largest projects to this date.

What was actually interesting to me was the "Market Research" that Kevin Howard sited as being done by the Ritz Carlton, in reference to the "Million Dollar Baby Bommer Buyer."

I am including the list for you all to read:

The list is as follows for those of you that are Builders, Developers, Real Estate agents, or are just interested in their research!

The "Million Dollar Baby Boomer Buyer" is looking for the following house:

1. The house must have two Mastersuites and two Masterbathrooms.

2.There must be two kitchens…..a prep Kitchen for entertaining, that comprises ovens for caterers, and a main Kitchen that remains tidy during entertaining.

3.They are also looking for two more bedrooms with ensuite baths and a further bedroom/den with bath.

4. All this should not be more than 4000 square foot in size….
